Becoming a parent is one of the most challenging and rewarding journeys to ever be on.

Parenthood is a constant balancing act of attending to our own selves so that we have the emotional energy and resources to give to our children. Seriously, this is a lot! But therapy can help.

I’m Danielle and I have been working with women, caregivers and young children for almost 13 years. Relationships are at the foundation of my work and I believe this is the key to healing and growth.

We were all children once ourselves and our early experiences, the things that happened or did not when we were younger, affect who we are today. It is not just the experience itself, it is in the meaning we make of them and the stories we tell ourselves that shape who we are, how we view the world and what we expect of ourselves and others in relationships.

Exploring our own stories can help us become more aware of the meaning behind our reactions and responses to our children’s and partner’s needs and behaviors. I have seen the transformation that is possible firsthand when we explore and challenge these deeply held beliefs. This results in a healthier and stronger relationship with ourselves, our significant others, and our children.

Often we have the desire and hope to parent or show up in our relationship with our partner differently but we aren’t always sure what that looks like or where to start. Just like in parent-child relationships, couples can develop greater trust, intimacy, and a stronger foundation for navigating challenges by cultivating a more secure attachment.  I strive to create a space where both partners feel seen, heard and validated. My approach aims to foster a deeper understanding of each other’s emotional needs and vulnerabilities through exercises, reflections, and open dialogue.

Whether you are here for support in parenting or support in your marriage or relationship, I am here to hold a compassionate space and work along side of you as you pave the way for a new way of being as a human, a partner or as a parent.

Navigating insurance for couples therapy can be challenging and complicated. Most insurance providers do not cover couples therapy unless there is an identified patient with a specific mental health diagnosis. For insurance to "cover" the therapy, the treatment must focus on addressing that diagnosis. This means that common relationship issues, such as improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing intimacy, are not typically covered by insurance plans.

By accepting self-pay clients, Danielle can provide comprehensive, relationship-focused therapy tailored to your unique needs without the constraints and limitations imposed by insurance companies. This approach allows for a more flexible, personalized, and effective therapy experience, ensuring you receive the dedicated support necessary to foster a healthier, more fulfilling partnership.
