Why Hive?
"Hive Wellness Collective" captures our belief in the healing power of connection, inspired by the supportive network within a beehive. Our name highlights the importance of strong relationships, showing how, like bees in a hive, people heal and grow through connections with others. This idea is at the heart of our approach, where building meaningful, supportive bonds is key to effective therapy + change.
OUR APPROACH
Science-Backed, Culturally Attuned, and Inclusively Yours
Our therapy is built on solid science, tailored to your story, and respectful of your journey. We're here to offer you a safe space where you're free to explore every part of yourself without judgment, and where we work together to break free from the cycles and traumas that hold you back.
Our methods are proven, our approach is sensitive to who you are, and our practice is welcoming to everyone.
Healing through connection.
Hive Wellness Collective was inspired by our founder's personal journey through the challenges of motherhood and postpartum struggles, highlighting the profound need for connection and support during vulnerable times. She created Hive as a sanctuary for mothers like herself seeking connection and support.
As her family's journey unfolded, particularly with her son's ADHD diagnosis, it became clear to our founder just how deeply a mother's well-being is intertwined with the well-being of her children and the health of her family relationships.
This realization led to a significant expansion of Hive Wellness Collective's mission. Recognizing that the foundation of a thriving family lies in the collective well-being of all its members, Hive evolved into a holistic practice that not only supports mothers but also embraces children, partners, and family units as a whole. This inclusive approach acknowledges the diverse challenges and dynamics of modern families.
Hive stands as a testament to our founder's vision of healing through connection, evolving into a collective space where every individual and relationship is valued and nurtured. It's a place where families can come together to find support, grow stronger, and navigate life's challenges with resilience and unity, truly embodying the belief that we heal better together.

At Hive Wellness Collective, we believe that true healing happens through connection. This value is at the heart of everything we do. Connection isn't just about the relationships between individuals; it's about the relationship you have with yourself. Our therapy is designed to inspire deep, meaningful connections—between you and your therapist, between you and the people you care most about, and within your own inner world.
Our approach emphasizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship. We know that when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood, you’re more likely to engage fully in the healing process. We work to create an environment where you can connect with your emotions, experiences, and the people in your life in a way that promotes healing and growth. Whether you’re a mother navigating postpartum challenges, a child learning to manage ADHD, or a family working through complex dynamics, we are here to help you forge connections that strengthen and sustain you.
empowerment in healing:
We believe that healing is most effective when you have the control to shape your own journey. “Empowerment in Healing” is about giving you the tools, knowledge, and support to take ownership of your well-being and make decisions that truly reflect who you are.
We’re here to help you find the inner strength and clarity to make real, lasting changes. Authenticity is the foundation of our practice. We understand that true healing begins when you can show up as your most authentic self. This means being honest with yourself about your needs, your desires, and your struggles, and knowing that it’s okay to be exactly who you are. We foster a therapeutic environment where authenticity is not just encouraged but celebrated.
Our therapists practice with authenticity, too. They bring their full selves into the therapeutic relationship, offering genuine care, empathy, and expertise. This authenticity allows us to connect with you on a deeper level and to provide therapy that is real, effective, and transformative. We’re not here to offer cookie-cutter solutions; we’re here to walk alongside you, providing support that is as unique as you are.
We're here for the whole family crew and beyond - parents, kids, grandparents, partners, siblings, and chosen family, too. Whoever you consider your people, they're welcome here in our circle of care.

The duration of therapy varies greatly depending on your unique circumstances, goals, and progress. At Hive, we believe in providing therapy that is tailored to your individual needs, which means that the length of treatment will be determined collaboratively between you and your therapist. Some individuals may find that they achieve their goals in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy to address deeper issues or to maintain progress over time. Your therapist will work closely with you to regularly evaluate your progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed to ensure that you are getting the most out of your therapy experience. Ultimately, our goal is to support you in reaching your goals and to provide the guidance and tools you need to thrive, whether that takes a few weeks, months, or longer.

Short answer: If you're a human navigating the complexities of today's hot mess of a world, therapy will help you.
Long(er) answer: Therapy can help everyone. It's not just for those 'I can't get out of bed' days (although it’s great for those!) It's also for those 'Why do I keep doing this?' moments. It's about growing as a person, and actually enjoying life a bit more. And let's be real, who wouldn't want that?

Our self-pay rates vary by clinician experience level and range from $125-$175 per 50-55 minute session.
Couples therapy is generally self-pay only, as navigating insurance for couples therapy can be challenging and complicated. Most insurance providers do not cover couples therapy unless there is an identified patient with a specific mental health diagnosis. For insurance to "cover" the therapy, the treatment must focus on addressing that diagnosis. This means that common relationship issues, such as improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing intimacy, are not typically covered by insurance plans.
As a result, our clinicians that specialize in working with couples only accept self-pay couples clients. This allows them to provide comprehensive, relationship-focused therapy tailored to your unique needs without the constraints and limitations imposed by insurance companies. This approach allows for a more flexible, personalized, and effective therapy experience, ensuring you receive the dedicated support necessary to foster a healthier, more fulfilling partnership.

When using insurance for therapy services, it's important to understand that your out-of-pocket costs—such as deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance—can vary based on your specific insurance policy. To ensure clarity and avoid surprises, we recommend taking a proactive approach to understanding your financial responsibilities.
Steps to Take:
Identify Your Policy Details: Your insurance card is a valuable resource. Look for the customer service number, usually found on the back of the card.
Inquire About CPT Codes: When you call your insurance provider, ask about coverage for the following Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Codes:
90791: This code is used for your initial intake session.
90837: For sessions that are 53 minutes or longer.
90834: For sessions that are less than 53 minutes.
90847: For family sessions.
Confirm Your Coverage: Specifically, inquire about your deductible (and how much you have met for the year so far), co-pay, and co-insurance for the mentioned CPT codes. If asked for an NPI, you can provide the following: 1891381877 (if you need a clinician-specific NPI, please ask us!) These details will help determine your out-of-pocket costs for therapy.
