Feeling like life to just too much to handle right now?

Whether it’s your child struggling with big feelings, a teen who feels stuck or overwhelmed, or you yourself grappling with anxiety, depression, or past trauma—it can all feel like a lot. Sometimes, it feels like no matter how hard you try, things just don’t get better. That’s where I come in.

Hi there, I’m Mia and I specialize in helping children, teens, young adults, and families navigate the tough stuff. I know how hard it can be to make sense of overwhelming emotions or to find solid footing when life feels chaotic. Through play therapy and attachment-based techniques, I create a space where you or your child can start to untangle the stress, process difficult emotions, and build tools to feel more in control.

For me, therapy isn’t about one-size-fits-all solutions. I tailor my work to meet each client where they are, offering an approach that feels personal, thoughtful, and doable. Whether it’s helping a child make sense of their feelings through play or working with a young adult to regain confidence and clarity, I bring warmth, understanding, and real expertise to the process.

I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, ensuring that everyone I work with feels valued and celebrated for who they are. My goal is simple: to help my clients find relief, gain insight, and start moving toward the life they want—at a pace that feels right.

If you’ve been searching for someone who truly gets it and is ready to help, I’m here. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Reach out today and take that first step toward feeling better.

IDEAL VACATION:

Relaxing on the beach or hiking in the mountains, or even a combination of the two!

FAVORITE WAY TO UNWIND:

Snuggling with my puppies and reading a good book.

a life-changing piece of advice you’ve received:

We Bought a Zoo is a movie I have loved since I was little, and I have lived by the quote "Sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it."

skill you’re currently working on:

Currently I have been exploring more recipes in the kitchen! This goes hand in hand with getting more comfortable with making mistakes...but has been such a fun skill to work on!

Having the opportunity to form genuine connections with clients, and the chance to walk a bit of their life path with them.
